We're going to be on TV!

Well, we finally had the chance to film Kev's big commercial today!  The KIA FINALLY arrived at the dealership.  We went on over to the dealership and CBC was there and ready to go.  It was simple but our cutie kids performed.  It will be fun to see what they actually use in the commercial.  Rusty was a pro, holding up the keys to the car and saying, "We won a car!" in all of his cuteness.  He even wanted to shake the hands of the KIA heads. 

They also filmed some shots of us in the car, and Rocky performed too.  He was sitting on my lap "pretending" to drive and he bounced up and down, grinning from ear to ear.  Don't worry, the car was parked and off!  They wanted to film us driving around the lot in the car, but I wouldn't let the kids be in it without their car seats. 

It's a pretty sweet car, I have to admit.  A little part of me wants to keep it.  It has a backup camera, SIRIUS radio, iPod connector, sun AND moon roofs, air conditioned leather seats...it is a souped up, pretty vehicle.  The other part of me, however, is going to enjoy selling it to our buyer and paying off Kev's car, as well as having some more money to put into savings.  I know it's the right choice for us, but I'm not going to lie...a teeny, tiny part of me wanted to keep it today! 

If our Canadian friends want to see the commercial it should be on Hockey Night in Canada sometime in the next few weeks.  He said not tonight, of course, but probably by next week.  Of course Kev will PVR it to see if we can catch it, and then we will video it and probably put it up on Facebook or something.  Overall, it was a fun experience...I still can't believe my husband actually won a car!
