23 Days!!!!

It's been almost two years since I have seen most of the people in this photo. My parents came up to visit me last summer (summer of 07), and my mom came up for Rusty's birth, but I haven't seen anyone else since Christmas of 2006! In just 23 days, I will be hugging them, laughing with them, and most importantly, introducing them to my son!
A lot has happened since this picture was taken. Kev and I went through the toughest time in our lives together, but also through the greatest moment! We can't wait for the rest of the family to meet this little guy that we love so much. My younger sister is also pregnant, and due on January 2nd, so we are all secretly hoping she goes just a bit early so we can meet her little one! I will be flying back a few weeks later to meet the baby anyway, but being there for the birth would be wonderful!
I'm looking forward to seeing my nephews...I know that they have changed so much! The last time I saw the youngest one, he wasn't talking much, and now he is a little chatterbox that is SOOOO EXCITED to meet his new cousin! My sister has told me that he prays for Rusty every day and thanks God that he gets to meet Rusty soon. How adorable is that?
I look forward to lots of hugs. Hugs from everyone! My dad's hugs always make me cry, and one of the people I am most looking forward to hugging is my little brother. Last time we were home for Christmas he was only able to be there for a day...this time he will be there almost the entire time we are there. I intend to make up for two years of hugs!
We have some fun things planned, but mostly we are all just looking forward to those times where we are just sitting around talking, laughing, and enjoying life together. It is a known fact that almost every time my family is together someone makes me laugh so hard that milk comes out my nose when I am eating. It never fails, just as a take a big drink someone-usually my little bro-says something hilarious and I lose it. I have to say, I'm looking forward to laughing so hard that I snort a little milk!
I'm so excited that I'm counting down the days...I hope that these next few weeks simply fly by! Family, we're coming soon!!!

I, too, am going to South Dakota for Christmas.

Any chance you're flying in to Sioux Falls? Or any plans on traveling towards that way for anything?
