I knew it was going to happen. He had told me that it would happen...some day. I just didn't know it would be so soon! I didn't know that it would be voluntary!Yep, on Friday Kevin voluntarily got his head shaved. Luckily he did let me know about it a few weeks ahead of time, but it was still a shock the first time I saw him! I know, you're probably wondering how this happened! Many men don't voluntarily do that when they still have enough hair to have some sort of style. My man did, though, and I couldn't be prouder!

It does make his blue eyes seem even bluer...which I didn't think was possible!
I'm so proud because he did it for cancer research! The school he teaches at recently did a cancer fundraiser, Balding for Cancer. They had kids sell tickets to raise money and students that bought tickets could put their name in for a chance to shave a teacher's head! Kev was one of the brave volunteers. We figure it will be just right for summer. He'll be nice and cool with all of the hot weather that has been heading our direction.
Check it out. He spiked his hair up in a mohawk before hand. It was also sports day, so the kids were all pumped up. He even got his head painted! It took him two showers and a lot of scrubbing to get all of the paint and glitter off of his head!
I love you, my dear baldy!
Preshave-he had let his hair grow for quite awhile.
The girl that drew his name was pretty sweet, he said she was very careful!

The teacher takes over!
It's all gone...only a short buzz and some paint left!
It does make his blue eyes seem even bluer...which I didn't think was possible!
Actually, he's got a pretty good head for bald! Some guys, you look at them and go WHOA! They should NOT be bald! (Like Uncle Gary) Hehe...
