I have been so busy that I have barely had time to check my email, let alone write a blog post. I can't wait to write all about the fun that Rusty and I are having on our trip home to see my family. It has been an incredible time, and it seems to be flying by! I can't believe that tomorrow I leave to go home. It's definitely different than the last visit when Rusty wasn't even four months old yet and I was exhausted with caring for him by the end of it. I can't wait for us to come back again in July!
I want to write all about how wonderful and amazing my family is, but it will have to wait. For the moment, I just wanted to show everyone why this trip was so worth it. It can be summed up in one simple picture. It is a picture of sweet Rusty holding MY grandma's hands. We went to visit them on our second day here. He was sitting on my lap and we were sitting next to Grandma talking to her. Suddenly he reached out and just grabbed ahold of her hands and held tight for quite awhile. Grandma thought it was so special, and so did we! My mom was a quick thinker, and managed to capture it on film. This one is MOST DEFINITELY going to be framed and hung in my house. It makes me tear up every time I look at it. It just captures the difference between young and old, the generation gap, yet shows that the years mean nothing at all when love is involved...and loving is something that both Rusty and my grandma know how to do very well!

This picture is so precious!! What a special thing to have. I only wish that my Granny would have been able to meet our boys.
