She's leaving. I'm so sad, and so happy, all at the same time. My dear friend, Ange, is taking off on the mission of a lifetime. She's leaving all of her comforts back home to go off to Cambodia! She's following her heart and her leading from God and she's off to serve Him there.
I'm incredibly proud of her. She has comfy life here. She has good friends and family. She has a great job. She had good stuff going on...yet, she knew it wasn't enough. She felt the calling, she felt the pull. Just over a year ago I remember sitting on a bench at Harrison with her, and she was pouring out her heart to my friend Seren and I about how she thought God wanted more of her, and she was going to tentatively take the steps to do it. Now? She's DOING it!
She's so brave, and so special. She gives the best hugs. She challenges me in my faith. Her heart is HUGE, she has this incredible ability to love completely. Ange, my dear, precious friend, you will be SO missed. Your presence is an incredible light in many lives. You are going to change the lives of every single person you encounter in Cambodia, on the flight there, on the flight home, in the little market, and everywhere else that you go. I can't wait for next year, I can't wait to hear all of your stories and to see how God is at work in you! You are ordained by Him and He LOVES you and He is so proud of you!
