The Christmas Post

I always feel like it is so difficult to sum up the holidays in a simple post.  There is simply too much.  Too much laughter, too much love, too much time with family, too many cute moments from Rusty, too many sweet times between friends, and even too much good food!  I can't get it all down, I can't properly express exactly how we felt in the middle of the magic moment when Rusty realized he really DID get that train set he was wishing for, or when he was snuggled up to his Nana listening to her read a book about what Christmas is REALLY all about, or the way my heart was bursting as we sang Christmas songs at the Christmas Eve service at church, or how incredibly happy I was at that same service when I looked around and saw the incredible friends that have become family in the last year.  It's just too much.

All I can say is that we are blessed, and we are thankful.  We are thankful for that precious baby that was an absolute miracle and became our Savior.  We are thankful for our wonderful families, both near and far.  We are thankful for OUR precious babies, both the two year-old monkey and the wee one inside.  We are thankful for the incredible friends that surround us and make our lives seem so much richer.  We are thankful for our marriage, and the way that God continues to work in it to draw us closer together...my husband truly is such an incredible man.  I am so blessed.

My Christmas post is simply this...what a wonderful Christmas it truly was.  I love the Lord, I'm thankful for the many wonderful blessings He has bestowed upon us, and I will continue to praise Him, all the year round.

Merry Christmas from our family to yours!
