Are you really ready to be a mom?

I realize that we can never truly be 100% ready to be parents, but I honestly believe that people are just not thinking things through anymore. Having a baby seems to be the latest "it" thing in the celebrity world...there are celebrity Moms popping up right and left. One of the most surprising celebrity Moms was Britney Spears. Britney did not strike me as the type to be a responsible mom. Her life seemed much more focused on partying and doing whatever made her happy. She recently proved me right. What could ever, ever cause someone to think that it is all right to speed down the road, driving with one hand wrapped around the steering wheel and the other hand wrapped around the baby in your lap?

Yep, she did it again...Britney has messed up, yet again. This time, she claims she was speeding away from the papparazzi and had to quickly jump in her car and drive off. Oh, of course! Then it would be perfectly logical to just put your baby in your lap! I'm sure that I would do the same! Did she HONESTLY believe that the papparazzi could do more danger to her child than a possible car accident that could cause the air bag to deploy directly in her child's face, or worse, possibly cause her child to fly out of her arms and through a window? Oh yeah, I forgot...the reason she was driving with one hand was because she was holding on to her child with the other. Yeah, as if that could replace a child car seat and safety belt! I'm sure her arm would be just as secure if they were rear-ended from behind.
