Whew!

The end of August is quickly approaching and let me say, there is a reason that I haven't blogged since the beginning of it. I haven't had the time! There have been great reasons for this. First my parents arrived for a week long visit. Then, Kevin and I took off for Oregon for his master's graduation and finally, we went on a seven day Alaskan cruise with his parents. We just got back a few hours ago! See how dedicated I am?

What a great month! I had a blast with everything that we did...even when we had to get up at four in the morning to throw the tarp over our tent in the middle of falling rain in Oregon. Yep, even that was fun. I'm sure that I will try to get on here at some point to talk about all of these grand adventures...but not yet. I have to go back to work tomorrow morning and sometime between now and then I have to go buy milk, wash clothes, upload pictures, call some friends, and maybe get in a nap. I'm so tired. Really really tired. Kevin and I were up late last night enjoying our last night on the ship and we were up early this morning to get ready to leave the ship. I'm still adjusting to the fact that I am actually going to have to cook...and no one will be there to make my bed in the morning and turn it down at night. Who will put chocolates on my pillow? WHO WILL BRING ME TWO DESSERTS AFTER EVERY DINNER!?! What am I going to do?

Oh yeah, I know...my bed will remain unmade, so we won't need anyone to turn it down at night. We will whip out the cereal and have our meals provided. I will just not have dessert and hey, that won't be a bad thing!

Whew...August is almost over.
