Spring break is almost here! Just two more school days, and for me only one. I have a doctor's appointment tomorrow, so I won't be in to work. Yahoo! I'm definitely looking forward to having time to sleep in and just relax.
The first week isn't going to be that relaxing, but it will be good! Kevin's big brother is coming home for a visit for the first time in a long time. We're looking forward to spending some time with him. We'll then be heading off to Oregon for a few days.
My second week I plan to do some cleaning, maybe sort thorugh some of my clothes, and a lot of sleeping! One thing I know I will do for sure is miss my girls!
Two of my dearest friends are off to the far corners of the Earth. Today was their last day at work, as they are leaving with various teams to go on missions trips with our school. My best girl, Serenity, is heading off to Argentina. She's going to be a great leader, but seeing that we talk every day several times a day, it's going to be tough for me to be out of communicaiton with her for that long! I DO know I'll be praying for her, and ask you to do so as well! We've become so close this year, we even went on a Caribbean cruise together with our husbands over Christmas break. It was a trip that really solidified our friendship with them, and I don't know how I will make it without her for that long. I cried tears on her shoulder as I hugged her goodbye today, her t-shirt was even wet! She's taking my tears with her, as it was their team shirt. I miss you already Seren!

My other girl that's heading out is my sunshine, Ange. She's such a joy and has brought so much life into our workplace. She has a heart of true gold, and I have enjoyed becoming closer to her this year. She's just one of those people that makes you want to do anything for her, because she's so fantastic. She gives the best hugs, and again, I cried tears on her shoulder as I hugged her goodbye. Ange is off to Cambodia! She's going to bring that team closer together with her infectious joy and her incredible integrity.

I can't wait to hear their wonderful stories when they return. I know that God is going to use them in wonderful ways over the next two weeks.
