We went to the 9 a.m. service, since we were up anyway. It was nice to be there. We were surrounded by young parents with babies! I guess that is how it goes! You are up anyway, why not go to the 9 a.m. service! One of the nicest parts for me was seeing Kevin joking around with one of the guys from his hockey team. This was part of the reason he wanted to run the hockey team through the church this year, to get to know more of the guys in the church. It seems that he has done just that! He's now looking forward to playing on the church soccer team, and I must say that I am as well. I can't wait to meet the wives of some of these guys that Kevin has gotten to know. Apparently most of them come out to the soccer games since they are earlier than the hockey games. We really feel that this church is becoming our home. We are going to take the membership class next week, a big step for us! I'm not sure why it has taken us this long, but we are excited to take that step. CAC is definitely becoming another family to us. There are so many wonderful, caring people in the church family. It is neat to get to know them.
After we returned home, I took up residence on the couch-a favorite place of mine-and Kevin suddenly had to run out and do some errands. I found it strange, but kissed him and bid him farewell. He returned about an hour later with a wonderful Easter surprise for me! A beautiful bouquet of lilies-my favorite and yet to bloom, I will enjoy them all week!-and other flowers. These were accompanied by a wonderful bag of Cadbury Mini Eggs! I have been craving these lately, and I guess my sweetie pie noticed!

Last but not least, today I am officially 18 weeks! We're excited about this, and I finally got up the nerve to take my first "side belly shot." I don't think I have much of a bump going on, but it will grow. We have our third ultrasound this week...we haven't had one since ten weeks so we are looking forward to it. We are still debating on whether or not to find out the sex of the baby...I guess it will continue to be our little secret! Here's the picture! I know my family has been waiting for it.

You look fabulous! Whatever you are doing, keep doing it! Little baby bumps in the beginning are better, they will eventually get bigger, and this way the pregnancy doesn't seem as long, because you don't "feel" pregnant as long.
