They say a good man can be hard to find...I'm thankful to have found mine. Today my wonderful husband did all of the things a good man should do. Here are a few:
- He got up early and played with Rusty so I could take an almost two hour nap.
- He made a point of talking to me about big topics, such as going back to work and how I feel about it.
- He spent the entire day doing what I wanted!
- He went for a walk with Rusty and I, one of my favorite things to do.
- He went couch hunting with me...we have discovered that the hand me down couch we got five years ago is causing him to have some pretty major back pain. It is also frayed and parts of the foam cushions are showing through. We aren't sure yet if we can swing a new couch, but we just went hunting today...normally those kinds of things are the ones he shies away from, but he went and didn't grumble at all! He even gave his input!
- He got me ice cream...not just any ice cream, but Marble Slab Creamery ice cream! YUM! I RARELY get it, it's a very special treat, but one of my true loves in food life and I enjoyed every single bite!
He is a good man, and I love him and am so thankful for him! Thanks for a great day honey!
I miss Marble Slab from Georgia. Good stuff...the bubblegum was my favorite.
