I went to visit my grandparents today, and my grandpa repeatedly said, "Time marches on." Boy is that true! Here are the munchkins, one year later. Time definitely marches on.
January 2009-A is 1 day old, Rusty is 4 months old
January 2010-A is 1 year old, Rusty is 16 months old
What a wonderful year it has been for all of us thanks to those two. They are both so funny, so sweet. Little Miss A gives loves to everyone and everything, including her cousin, stuffies, the towel, you name it, she will give it a hug.
Rusty is hilarious and will do just about anything to get a laugh out of people. He also definitely has things that he likes or does not like, and seeing his expressions makes us laugh each day.
These two are little peas in a pod. As I have been here the past two weeks I have been astonished to see Miss A doing things that Rusty has done in a similar way. Sometimes it is like looking at the same baby! They are definitely related!
One of the greatest things about this time has been seeing the two of them playing together! It just makes us realize what great buddies they will grow up to be, and how blessed they are to have each other. I hope they realize it some day too!
