OK, I know it's not officially here yet, but seeing as Halloween lands on a Monday night this year-which also promises to be drizzly around here-we celebrated Halloween on Saturday here. I had been thinking of having a party for awhile, since #5 on my 101 Things list is to host a theme inspired party at our house. Rusty has totally been into Halloween and figuring out what he wanted to be and such. When I asked him if he wanted to have his friends over for a party he jumped right on board.
I let Rusty choose the guest list-he told me which friends he wanted to invite-and he also helped me plan food and party favors. A few trips to Michael's later-and a group of fun people-and we had a great party!
Rusty had decided that he wanted to be a ghost this year, so I slaved away making him a costume-ok, ok, so it only took one night, pffft!-but then once he put it on to wear to the party he decided he didn't like the fact that he couldn't see out of the eyes, so he asked to put on his giraffe costume from last year. I guess he will be a giraffe two years in a row! I don't really mind...he's a pretty cute giraffe!
The party was a ton of fun, and we enjoyed a lot of great food too. Our house was full of cute little animals, two fantastic dragons, and even a sweet little ladybug and Jack-O-Lantern!

One of the best parts of the day for me was actually capturing a good photo of my two boys together! Happy Halloween everyone!
